It's a huge amount of time when I've got a preorder burning a hole in my pocket. I've been trying to forget about it so that it's a lovely surprise when it suddenly arrives in the post, but it's not really working so far.

I'm excited! It's been a long time since I read a series as it came out. I read Parasite last month not realizing the other two books weren't out yet and now I'm in physical pain waiting for Symbiont.

I've had this on preorder since the instant it became available, doing the "hurry up and wait" dance now. Realizing it's so close gives me an excellent reason to move Parasite back to the top of my reread queue though, so. :D
