Sounds like an excellent trip.

Newgrange was the one tourist/heritage site I visited in Ireland, and it is amazing.

Newgrange was awesome and scary and so very different from any place I had ever been. The quiet there was a quiet unlike anyplace else - I have been alone in the woods with no people for miles, and I felt more isolated in the tomb with my fellow tourists.

I felt safe and alone and somehow that felt scary.

I am very amused to see that Brian and Shevy, once again, are mentioned as tour guides extraordinaire for Dublin. (In fairness, they are.) To misquote Neil Gaiman, there are only 500 real people in Ireland and Brian and Shevy are about 350 of them...
