Saying this here so I know you'll see it: I just downloaded Kindle for PC specifically to buy San Diego 2014: The Last Stand of the California Browncoats (I didn't know Kindle for PC existed before, how remiss of me). My heart broke so hard. It was an amazing read. Then I went and googled the average weight of Labradors, because the notion of service animals amplifying hadn't occurred to me before (I have no idea how), and, just... ow.

And, seeing this, I just bought it also. I don't have an actual Kindle, but I have the app on my tablet just for things like this. Woohoo! Now I have to go somewhere where there's free WiFi so I can download it.
