Sadly, there's just no way I can make it. Again. My LARP troupe actually convinced a convention that we were cool enough to be invited as actual for real guests, and I am frantically writing a new Dresden Files game for the 25th.

So Ben Macallan will arrive hammered and awesome?

Hmm. I'm not sure about that. It's possible that there is a way to get awesome hammered, after which it can be reshaped into Caitlin Kittredge or Ben MacAllan. (Although if the uniqueness proposition is correct, it's impossible to create Caitlin Kittredge or Ben MacAllan again, since they already exist. It is possible to create people with the same names, but they would be essentially different.)

My current dream is to plan a vacation so that I will be IN the SF area at the right time to attend just such an event, because travelling circuses and snake handling shows should have far out of town attendees, I think. Besides, who else can say that they have crazy people planning trips all the way from Wyoming to go to their booksigning, right? I hope this is a fantastic time with a huge turnout and that you never stop having them! (because it is going to take me some time to get this plan in motion, you understand) Brightest Blessings!

"Bring your slime monsters!"

Well, actually, that's just what I WOULD be bringing if I showed up Saturday. They've been lodging in my throat/nose/etc. for the past week now. Oh, sure, on one hand it would pass muster. "Did you bring enough slime monsters for EVERYBODY?" Well, yes, the potential for sharing this URI with EVERYBODY is there. But I'm thinking that there are times when being selfish is a virtue. These are currently MY slime monsters, and I'm not going to share them with my friends. So there. (Sticks out slime-covered tongue at people.) Go get your own.

I do, however, join-from-a-distance in the celebration of the release of DISCOUNT ARMEGEDDON.
