So, uh. That happened. Deadline-the second installment in the Newsflesh trilogy-has been nominated for the Philip K. Dick Award. This is a juried award, and, to quote the website, "The Philip K. Totally off topic but I have a cat that looks almost exactly like the cat in your icon and I have a picture of him on a red dog bed that also looks almost exactly like that. For a moment I totally thought it was an icon I hadn't realized I had made!

Goodness. The cat in my icon is Caspian, who sadly is no longer with us -- he was my very first cat, and a lovely smart boy. Grey and white cats are best!
