Zombiesque [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy] has been out for a few weeks now (although my anthology-loving heart still leaps every time I see a copy, even if it's on my desk), and a few reviews have poked their happy little heads up.

Lexile reviewed Zombiesque for Night Owl Reviews, and says, "Zombiesque is a better than average anthology." Yay! But ( Read more... )

Amazon UK say "We are preparing these items for dispatch and this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed". Yay! They then also say "estimated delivery: 30th April"! WTF? What do they know about the Post Orofice that I don't?

(I'm still calling it "zombie-squee" *g*.)

I may have a sighting in the wild!!!! One of my local Chapters has 3 copies of late Eclipses listed in the computer. I'll report back after I've been out. Keep your fingers crossed.

Scanning down that list a mention of "fighting pumpkins" suddenly triggered a bizarre need to see Troma Films (because only they could give it enough..er..cheeze) produce "Killer Tomatoes VS Fighing Pumpkins". ;-)

A propos of nothing here, Robert J. Sawyer just posted on his FB feed about his novel WWW:Watch being up for an Audie (Audio Publishers Assn. award) and I happened to recognize another name in the category:
Best Science Fiction or Fantasy Audio Book of the Year

Black Magic Sanction, by Kim Harrison, Narrated by Marguerite Gavin, Blackstone Audio

Feed, by Mira Grant, Narrated by Paula Christensen and Jesse Bernstein, Hachette Audio

Halo: Evolutions, by various authors including Tobias S. Bucknell, B.K. Evenson, and Jonathan Goff, Narrated by Steve Downes, Holter Graham, Frank OConnor, and Jen Taylor, Macmillan Audio

The Day of the Triffids, by John Wyndham, Narrated by Graeme Malcolm, Audible, Inc.

The Stainless Steel Rat, by Harry Harrison, Narrated by Phil Gigante, Brilliance Audio

WWW: Watch, by Robert J. Sawyer, Narrated by Jessica Almasy, Marc Vietor, Oliver Wyman, Jennifer Van Dyck, and Robert J. Sawyer, Audible, Inc.

I loved the production on both Feed and Watch, so I'm not sure which fingers to keep crossed!
