Review roundup, in vain against the flood.

You know the drill by now.

First up, a relatively rare pitch for people to pick up my CDs. I'm posting this largely because Wicked Girls is still in pre-order (through my website), and Stars Fall Home is on the verge of going entirely out of print. Seriously. Not joking. So you may want to consider picking these up soon, if you were ever going ( Read more... )

Hey, that was a great article! It answered all my unasked questions about your pseudonym, though I'd deduced already that there must be good reasons for them. Brand recognition and non-competition make perfect sense.

I do want your CDs, but funds are tight around here. $2300 of periodontal work will do that to a budget. But I'll see what I can do. :)

And I like hearing about your cats. Post more about them!

I understand tightness of funds. I'm only posting about the CDs right now because a) Wicked Girls is in pre-order, and b) Stars Fall Home is literally down to five copies in my possession.

Wow, five copies?? I'm going to look at my budget in a little bit. :) Much cheaper than the Bob Dylan and Sarah McLachlan concerts, neither of which I could justify.

To analyze, you have a good, low-key, advertising "campaign" on your LJ, out there without being pushy. (The next paper topic I'm giving my class is analyzing advertising. I hope I come up with something to talk about tonight...).

Plus, well, I've heard you sing. It's a lot of fun. :)

Hallo! I just finished Feed and I wanted to come by and comment on it.

LOVED IT! Made me smile! Made me cry!

I also have to admit to a tiny thrill when the opening pages took place in Santa Cruz and environs - it's always extra-special when a novel is situated (at least in part) where you live :)

So - congrats! Well done! Now you've got me hooked on your novels regardless of what name you publish them under!

Cleaning out my LJ comment folder tonight, and I'm reminded to share this brief exchange I had about Feed in a fairly unlikely place....
