So-for a variety of reasons-I've had the song "Wicked Girls Saving Ourselves" stuck in my head for roughly a week now. This has started to drive me insane. Consequentially, I spent a good chunk of yesterday composing new verses, just so I'd be singing something different. October believed she could be more than what she was given,
A little girl lost in the woods, so determined and driven,
But she traded her past for a hope and a prayer,
And she didn't remember that life isn't fair,
Now she's lost in the fog knowing even her blood is a scandle,
And the Babylon road is so long, and she's missing her candle.

I had a feeling she might not be familiar to you, but the author's doing a signing for one of her other books at the Pruneyard tonight, so Phèdre's been on my mind. You'll have plenty to work from, so I won't go scrambling for another suggestion.

[...though writing this comment makes me think that a post on Autograph Etiquette might not be a bad idea, if you've not already written one....]

How about Kali? :)

...pretty sure if you tried to save Kali, she'd eat your tasty flesh and make a hat from your skull. I do not wish to risk the skull hat.

Understandable. Someone who has redeemable qualities. Right?

That, and someone who actually speaks to me as needing a verse. At this point, I have more prompts than I could write in a month of Sundays, and shall stop very shortly.

Irene Adler?

(second request removed - some day I will learn to read the rules before bubbling over with enthusiasm and scribbling down everything that I would love to see you write)

I've tried and tried to make "Destiny" not sound like, well, destiny, and it's not working. I cry thee mercy; you win.

Wow, someone read my mind by suggesting Medea! Well, given that the reason I was thinking of her was the musical "Marie Christine" why don't we go for Marie Leveau?

::grins:: Medea just leapt to my mind.

I'll add Dahut from the legend of the city of Ys as well. >;)

One per customer, thankfully, or I should go quite mad. Well, madder.

::grins:: I didn't initially realize it was looking for requests as much as ideas. One idea of mine being used is pretty damn cool. :)
