It's quite lovely, this festival. I remember back home, these things were rare during the war; but after, Jam would always bring me mooncakes and I would insist on tea. There are things that we miss, when we realize how far from home we really are.

I am. I've never been to a festival like this before! It's very charming.

The cakes are actually a new concept for me. The only thing like them I've had back home are moonpies.

Moonpies? I don't believe I've ever had one.

My acquaintance Jam owned a restaurant; she made mooncakes every autumn. But I admit, they're a bit tricky to get used to, if you don't like bean-curd paste!

It's basically two chocolate covered cookies stuck together with a marshmallow filling in the center. They're pretty good.

The one I had was pretty sweet, albeit fruity. They have egg yolks in them, right?

They do sound delicious, but I don't think they would go very well with tea. Perhaps better with milk.

I'm afraid I'm no great expert on mooncakes, but I suppose they must?

You hardly ever talk about them, you know.

Talk about who? The people back home?

Mmhm. You'll mention names every so often, but I don't know much about your friends from before the City.

Yes; I suppose I am quiet about them.

Would you like to know about anyone in specific?

How would you dress me?

In a smart yukata, of course! Why, there's a lovely blue one I saw that I believe would set off your hair and eyes splendidly!

[ooc; Way to cheer up a lady- let her play dress-up!]

All right then, Megu, you can dress me up. I trust your judgment on it.
