Cool - and congratulations! How old were the children that you talked to?

Getting powerpoint to work will undoubtedly be the hardest bit of the lot, though. ;)

Not looking forward to power point at all... but I don't *have* to use it - but it would be quite cool to use the computer to show off some of the fab astro sites there are.

Children were from about 5 to 8 yo. And two of them belonged to me!

Gosh, that's young. It must have been an interesting exercise to pitch the talk to that age group. And lucky kids! I wish somebody had brought meteorites to my school when I was that age. All I remember is policemen telling us not to talk to strangers, and that isn't half as much fun as space!

Well done! What age kids were you aiming the talk at?

Thank you!!

The kids were about 5 to 8 years. Two belonged to me, and I knew a couple of them from the school as well. So it was less scary than it could have been.

Have seen you posting again - and I was going to drop by and wave and give you some fish to say hi!!

I'm having a mad burst of activity on here, just hoping I can sustain the regularity and enthusiasm.

Sounds great, well done you! Do you have any interesting links to astronomy websites suitable for a 10 year old beginner in the subject?
