I had a nervous breakdown and did 14 days in a mental hospital. The anxiety was just too much to handle and I became suicidal, so on February 2, I called 911 and was taken to West Plains, MO where I was put on Cymbalta and Seroquel.

That's the nutshell version.( Here's the long story. )

Glad you're back, and even more glad you asked for help when you needed it.

You're not alone in death by a thousand papercuts. The last month just made everything a lot worse for a lot of people. I'm not sure how I'm holding it all together myself. =/

Thank you very much. It really did seem like things were bad for a lot of people. My boss said I was one of four people who work for him that was having anxiety attacks. Something in the water, maybe.

More likely, something in the government.

If the EPA-related legislation gets pushed through, it'll be something in the water too.

Is it wrong that I laughed? I'm hoping your sense of humor is as dark as mine.

Thank you! I'm glad to be home and back at work, feeling a little bit normal. I'm wanting to write a book about the ordeal. I met a lot of interesting characters in the psych unit.

Wow. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. At least it sounds like it helped. The origami flowers were very sweet.
