Verdict: The point of getting this imp was to see how I did with the base formula for the Snake Pit. I was concerned when I first got it, because it smelled like there might be dark musk involved in the oil notes. Still might be, but it's not one that causes me problems. Verdict: When scent is a migraine trigger, you treasure pleasantly inoffensive scents almost as much as overtly good scents. This is a pleasantly inoffensive scent, very light and summery. Verdict: Very airy and pretty, which is...not really me, and not at all what I expected from a BPAL clown scent and especially not what I expected based on the description (though the ingredient list gave me a hint). I am reminded most strongly of those posters of delicate harlequin dolls that were popular with girls a few years younger than me ( Read more... )

Verdict: There are stories in this. It's also an excellent autumn scent, I think, and a good one for those days when I'm feeling a little nauseated, because the notes are very calming.
