Among the many excellent posts, points, and projects that have arisen from the ongoing discussions about racism and cultural appropriation, today I ran across a pointer to racism_101. As difficult as this has been, I really do think that there's... progress in all of this mess. Because I'm seeing a lot of people making these kinds of posts & trying to work through it all. Have the main (white) players mostly shut down? Yes. But that's pretty normal when faced with even a minor internet shitstorm. But the dialogue that's opened up is a good thing overall.
