So, you want to know what's great about writing fanfic? I can actually convince myself that watching "The Colbert Report" is a productive activity. Seriously. It's research. Because if my bizarre story about characters from children's books and comedy news shows isn't completely accurate, the world will explode.

DAMN IT GUYS, I JUST FOUND A CLIP WHERE HE COMPLAINED THAT "THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE" WAS TOO COMPLICATED TO BE A CHRISTIAN ALLEGORY.

I was going to write little-Stephen-in-Narnia fanfic.

NOW WHAT DO I DO.

OK, ACTUALLY, HE WAS JUST REALLY IRRITATED THAT HE DIDN'T GET A PART IN THE MOVIE, SO HE HAD TO FIGURE OUT SOME WAY TO BASH IT.

Fine, Stephen. "Last time I checked, Jesus wasn't a lion", is now totally part of your dialogue, and that whole segment was an elaborate joke that you giggled about later and then called Obama to talk about. Because Obama was totally in Narnia too. You know it.

:D I think we really are evil twins. I actually went back and watched all the clips from Indecision 2000 and made a freaking Excel chart to keep track of who was where and doing what every single day. Plus that story will probably never get written anyway. (It's a pretty chart, though. /crazy)

STEPHEN IN NARNIA? I MUST SEE THIS. IMMEDIATELY.

Sometimes you just need to handwave stuff away, because these guys have done so much stuff they can't help contradicting themselves. Even if it makes our brains explode trying to rationalize it.
