Bah. It's looking increasingly unlikely that I'll find my travel documents in time to make my flight. While I haven't cancelled my hotel bookings etc yet, I don't know that one should expect to see me there either. I'm sorry too. Aside from the seeing friends part, the program has items I was looking forward to as well.

Thankfully yes. Which makes you one of the friends for whom Fourth Street was not the one time this year I was likely to see them. Like you I've already registered. I'm just waiting on the hotel, then I'll book the train.

Really? ... good to know. Thanks! I'll keep it in mind in case of emergency. This time it seemed like it'd be a selfish use of public resources considering that I know that it's in the house. Then there's the stuff that goes with declaring a passport missing.

Well, if we don't manage to meet up this year, perhaps let me know if sometime you're in the Montreal area. Burlington, VT is only about an hour and a half from there, though I've oddly never been.

Not too late for a first time then.

As it happens, the Farthing Party mentioned above is in Montreal, so I will be there towards the end of September.
