sometime last week (i lose track of the days, just know what time I work tomorrow. I have been exercising somewhat obsessively, and forcing activity on myself until another wave of grief hits me. yes, I know he was "just" a dog... but some of you were my friends 7 years ago when I adopted him! wow

Aw Jess, so sorry to hear about Isaiah. I hope you're doing okay.
He wasn't "just" a dog, he was your friend, and that's a lot.

I plan to get in touch with you in Michigan! I'll be there in just a few weeks, starting grad school in Ann Arbor. :-) It'll be nice to see you in person one of these days, after all these years.

seriously! Thats awesome. Ann Arbor is a fantastic city and U of M (if that's where you're going) is a great school.

Yep, I'll be at the U of M in the School of Natural Resources and Environment. And I'll be living at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum as the caretaker there. You'll have to come visit me in the Arb! :-)
