So, yes.

WE'RE ALLOWED TO GO TO THE NATIONAL ASIANS HIGH SCHOOL DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN MANILA.

...but the problem is money. *headdesk*
The admin is being pretty unreasonable dkfhasjkf;
READ PLEASE.

...So.
Our target amount is 10,000php FOR EACH DEBATER for the entire tournament expenses (plane fare, lodging, registration, blah.) Which is roughly 226USD, ( Read more... )

well, we used to do fundraising drive with my org in college before to help with the org's fund for outside activities. i forgot what we actually call them, but it's sorta garage sale from all the members' old stuff.. there's a pointing system so the members will have some sort of compensation from it, and well so that everyone would participate as well.. i don't know if that would raise that much money but it would help i think.. :)

you could also do a sort of an auction or something~

try asking for sponsorship? but u need to come up wif paperworks for that.... schools are like that but u can try?

o_o holy shit that is cheap for a school trip. Everything for 226USD??? Our school orchestra trips are like around $1200 a year...

ehh. idk how fund raising works where you are, but like, here we have cheesecake sales, and we stand on street corner and play instruments and stuff like that. XD We also have frequent flyer miles.

When we had to come up with $800usd each for a trip to NY City to perform in the Macy's Parade, we did "adoptions." People "adopted" us for $20usd and they got a post card sent to them from us in NYC and a little letter. It knocked out my $800 bill pretty quickly, and anything over that was given to us as spending money for food and other souvenirs past the postcards.
