I'm so sad it's over and I honestly feel that even though I loved it, it never got to fulfill its true potential. It could have been so much more if ABC had only let it. But I've loved short shows before and I guess this will join the ranks of Wonderfalls and Firefly as those shows where I treasure what we got (even though both of those were a bit more fulfilling in the end, I think).
I agree, I agree. For as much as I loved it, I gave it a pass on some things, like it's tendency to feel like scenes were incomplete, plus they had so many other side stories to tell and secondary characters to flesh out. I mean look at Saperstein's daughter - we knew basically NOTHING about her, but I bet she was interesting. I think Firefly and Wonderfalls were both more thoroughly fleshed out in their 13-episode runs (...though they were both hour shows, not half hours shows, too, so it's like they had twice what Selfie had, now that I think about it; an extra 13 episodes would've brought Selfie up to their level of development I think).
ANYWAY. Yes, I will treasure what we got. It's been remarkably re-watchable for me already.
