Where does the time go?

As of tomorrow (thanks, LJ, for being my diary so I could be exact on that!), we have lived in Seattle for TEN YEARS. We moved up so AHH could go to school, and we have planned to move back to San Diego immediately upon his graduation. But we fell in love with the area, found a community, and are here well past our initial expiration date

Aw, I didn't realize that either! Good year for Seattle. *g* I'm so glad Laura introduced us. I still think VERY FONDLY of our first Outback dinner. <3

re: 10) Seattle is now also considering legalizing cannabis, I belive. At least that's what the BBC told me (and the Beeb never lies ;) )

Hee, the BBC is correct, we actually passed it into law, it's just a matter of when it goes into effect, which I do not recall the date.

The possession part has been in effect since the bill was passed, they just had to figure out the distribution/taxation part, since it's still illegal federally. So I think for a while there it was still illegal to ACQUIRE it, but if it just somehow APPEARED IN YOUR POCKET, it was fine. Hee. I think the first dispensaries are actually due to open sometime in July, though. It will be interesting to see how all this works!

And SO GLAD you stayed! <33333333333 (I remember when you told me you were probably moving back to SD and I burst into tears in the middle of Atlanta. Ah, memories. Ah, peach vodka. Hee.) I really can't imagine life here without you, and I'm so glad you've been happy here. I do love our beautiful hippie liberal corner of the world very, very much.

We have never been back, at least together.
