Wow it has been a really long time since I posted

After two of the most stressful months I have ever had, my ship seems to (at least temporarily) be righting itself again and I find myself feeling outwardly fannish, not just inwardly fannish. Tumblr is very good for supporting inward/non-responsive fannishness, but I have THOUGHTS and I want to share them. It helps that I also saw TWO WHOLE ( Read more... )

I want him to live a happy life with Pepper (and his therapist Bruce. <33333333 omg I squeaked out loud when they showed that that was who he was talking to - I NEVER expected it to be Bruce! EEEEEEEEEEE).

I'm so glad you managed to stay unspoiled for this! I wanted to give you some kind of nonspoilery heads up, to make sure you stayed for this, but I couldn't figure out how to do it without giving away that Bruce was in it :P

I remain uninterested in seeing STID in theatres, but I'm glad to know you enjoyed it, because I will see it eventually. Just, you know, once it's on tv or at RedBox.

Heee. I apparently heard it through telepathy! Plus I know enough now to stay at the end of ALL Marvel movies. :)

STID should be good on TV. It's entertaining beyond its visuals. (Although there are a LOT of plot problems that I have found via post-movie review reading, heh.)

SDW, the Red Wedding. How can we even begin . . . I don't even know. The actress portraying Catelyn Stark was so dignified and regal and now . . .

I just caught up with the entire show two weeks ago. So Ned's beheading is very vivid in my mind. So is Jaime's maiming. It's a lot in two weeks, wow.

This season is totally full. I'm also wondering what's going to happen with Sansa, Tyrion, and Shae. Sadistic King Joffrey is still running loose. And who the hell is the heir to Winterfell now? Bran? Rickon? Who will finish raising those children? Rickon is six. Maybe seven. :-(

I really enjoy Brienne and Daenarys too. Very, very bloody world.

Wow, that is a LOT in two weeks. You need a break with a show all about puppies or something!

I don't know who is going to be heir to Winterfell, but I'd guess at this point it's Sansa since Bran isn't planning on staying in North anyway. And if it's Sansa, that means Tyrion, too. Which is fine, but the rest of the Lannisters? Ugh. (Well, except Jamie. Jamie is on a path to redemption I think!)

this season happened and it was like my shipping is brighter than the fire of 10,000 suns or something

YES. I love them in the books, but something about seeing NCW and Gwen bringing them to life just flipped the switch and now all I want is the next season of Game of Thrones so I can closely investigate even the tiniest of looks. As you do. :)

Roose is INCREDIBLY terrifying. They've done a great job with him on the show; he is weirdly charismatic even in his awfulness. A great villain.

And thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that! Hah!

I was really moved by Kirk's "I'm afraid" moment.

THAT was the part that made me start crying. AAAAAAAAAAAUGH POOR BABY. <333333

IT WAS JUST SO SAD. And humanizing. The movie did a good job, I thought, of humanizing Kirk even with all of his bluster and bullshit at the beginning.
