Yes, life is dearly missed. I loved the combination of Charlies external ZEN like calmness sprikled with subtle glimpses into the rage inside. Great acting there...
*LOL* I enjoyed the brain numbing aspects of 'Drive Angry', but then, I saw it at at time when work was so stressfull that I was doing work/sleep/work/sleep/work/sleep - so something that was brainless and action was right what I wanted.
Trying to describe the "plot" to a freind who didn't see the movie 'you see he gets out of hell and chases after this guy to get his kid back and this guy chases him and.....' my friend was like - and you WATCHED this? and I was like 'yea', and she shook her head.
so yea, I agree, no plot, lots of gratutious nudity and excuses for blowing stuff up.
The plot is really not worth speaking of - but I will give the movie this: it knows what it is and it adheres to that! It would work well as a brain-numbing distraction. :)

I liked Amber Heard's character, too, and thought that she'd make a fine female version of Chris Pine's James Kirk. Jamie Kirk, anyone?
