I have been lousy - LOUSY - at birthdays lately, but I absolutely could not let today pass without wishing all the best to danceswithwords! DWW, I hope you get a chance to breathe a bit today, enjoy some time with your puppy, and have a delicious meal. :)

That game is... Man, the internet has totally killed my ability to be shocked and upset anymore.

1. karaoke song? Snakes On a Plane again. That was way too much fun.

2. fruit/vegetable resemblance? Uhm, right now, I'm gonna go with a Horned Melon. Because I have awful hair desperately in need of a haircut and a decision on whether it should be blond or dark. Also, I'm green and squishy on the inside. XD

3. parent of one famous person? I...would want to be the parent of a famous person even less than a parent to a non-famous person. :P How about foster mom to the horse that played Mr. Ed?

4. last thing you regret buying? The stupid organic portobello mushrooms I bought that were apparently already going bad and had mold all over them when I pulled them out of the fridge two days later. And who are now making me very expensive compost.

5. crystal ball? I'd ask it if my life would actually be any different if I applied myself harder. Or I'd just save the crystal ball and the question until I died for lack of being able to

Most offensive online game ever?
In fairness -- and I can't believe I'm defending a silly "pick out cheerleader clothes" game -- that blog is actually exaggerating its offensiveness a bit. I'm bothered by this line especially: The “Crowd-o-Meter” registers their full approval of her in underwear. As she dresses ,their approval wains. I went to the game and that's blatantly not true. You start with a score of zero and the meter goes UP as you put on different clothing items. If anything, I'm minorly annoyed by the fact that pigtails are 'rated' higher than short punky hairstyles, but otherwise I've seen a lot of games like that. Of course it's dumb and has sexist implications (it's especially headdesky that the boys pictured cheering in the background are... well, all boys) but I think that blog's being hyperbolic acting like it's unusually awful for a paper-doll game. I'm SURE there are more or equally offensive time-wasters out there. [/rant
