I also have to thank AHH for suggesting that the song could be about the Obamas in the first place, when I knew I wanted to vid it but all of the ideas I had never felt quite right. :)

ION: Saw District 9 today and REALLY recommend it. The more I think about it, the more I find I have things to say, which I hope to get to this weekend. Starting with the great world-building. ETA: Or not. I've read some other reviews that have me reconsidering some of the things I took for granted. Hm. Worth pondering.
