AHH actually thinks that he's not going there to kill Ellen, that he's actually having an affair with her. Which, based on some of the way this episode was structured, is a really interesting and viable possibility.
Yeah, the looks they gave each other did give that possible impression. I didn't watch the preview either!

I feel like he and Dexter have totally shared a Moment now and that's kind of really scary. I love how every time Dex thinks he's putting Miguel off, he just bonds them closer together.
I know! It's crazy! And sort of annoying. GO AWAY, MIGUEL.

This show is such a great metaphor for isolation in our current society, honestly. I mean a show about a serial killer that is ultimately all about relationships and connections? Amazing.
Truly!

Hee. I love Deb so much, though. SO MUCH.
Me too! How cute is her hair this season?

Oh god that message he left for her! *laughs forever* I would have listened to it over and over, too. That is so the kind of voicemail message I would leave. I always ramble on and on, talking to ( ... )

Miguel has some weird issues; no wonder his family is crazy messed up.

Deb's hair is so cute! She looks adorable!

Alas, Pushing Daisies has not had its back nine picked up by ABC. That's pretty much the ballgame. *cries*

As for Dexter, I have learned something over the past two seasons. If you're going to marathon it, make sure you are either a) *before* Episode 8, or b) already past the finale. EPISODE EIGHT IS ALWAYS THE NIGHTMARE CLIFFHANGER.

Two seasons in a row, I've done this to myself. ARGH.

*cries with you about PD* I keep hoping they'll give it a shot, but it just doesn't seem worth it for them. UNFAIR. I heard the last filmed episode is quite a cliffhanger, too. I hope that's wrong.

Stupid episode 8. The tension in this show is unbearable sometimes. Heh.

Fuller says it's very much cliff-hangery. He also says, however, that he's determined to finish telling the story, whether in a tv-movie or a comic book or a podcast or however he has to do it.

(I'd love a Pushing Daisies graphic novel! I'd also love it if SciFi optioned it. Sigh.)

Dexter and Miguel - that whole situation is all kinds of scary. Miguel is much scarier than Dexter, because now he has a taste for it - and he has no code. Sometimes I forget that we started off this season with Dexter killing Miguel's brother. And if Miguel figures that out...

I do think he's going to kill Ellen. We'll see what happens!

And I love Deb/Anton. Don't be dead, Anton!

O.o Holy cow, you're RIGHT. Dex! Be careful!

Is it Sunday yet? :)

Well, we're all caught up on Dexter. MIGUEL. What the HELL are you doing? AHH actually thinks that he's not going there to kill Ellen, that he's actually having an affair with her.
See, I'm not sure what the frak he's doing either! I considered the affair. I also considered the possibility of him being undercover, trying to get closer to Dexter and then busting him for all those murders.

But, wow, he actually killed a guy. I feel like he and Dexter have totally shared a Moment now and that's kind of really scary. I love how every time Dex thinks he's putting Miguel off, he just bonds them closer together.
YES. Their relationship has been extremely fascinating! And very well done.

I also am REALLY HAPPY with Angel and Gianna. Oh god that message he left for her! *laughs forever* I would have listened to it over and over, too. ♥
ME TOO. Angel deserves some happiness and Gianna kicks so much ass. :D :D

It's like they're starting all over again from here, a clean slate, as much as possible. There is an actual positive emotional ( ... )

Oh good grief, that would be even worse. Stupid show, making me all worried about a serial killer.

I find your Dexter thoughts very interesting. I am going to think some more about things now. *g* I do think that things are heading toward a Dexter vs Miguel showdown, though, and that Dexter is going to find out the hazards of showing his true self to someone this closely intertwined with his life. Killing Miguel will be much more difficult than killing Brian/Rudy, or killing Lila, if only because Rita is *not* likely to simply ignore it if Miguel suddenly disappeared. And yet, I don't see how they can possibly end the season with Miguel alive and Dexter still free.

He has to know now, though, right? I mean...the M.O! Unless he thinks Dexter stole it from the Butcher.Well... I think that if he doesn't know yet, he *is* going to figure it out fairly soon -- he does have enough of the puzzle pieces to put it together, I think. But... I don't think Dexter has shown Miguel enough of his MO for him to make the connection that way -- Dexter was very careful not to make a blood slide of the man Miguel killed, and he's never shown Miguel ( ... )

I know! The only thing I can think is perhaps Miguel will kill himself? Or it will be set up to look that way? I don't know!

I think it's about acknowledging Alex's place as part of Michael's team, one of the people that Michael views as *important*, rather than just being one of the tools that Michael uses to get his job done.

I can agree with that. Things are starting over like a blank sheet of paper with no history behind them. I think you described it perfectly, that he does actually see Alex as part of his team now.
