A lot of people really seem to dislike Lisa. I feel like the show does a good job of balancing her negative and positive aspects, but we are kinda trained from birth to find her particular combination of neuroses especially grating.

I'm having trouble finding her positive aspects right now because I feel like the show is looking at her through Nate's lens and Nate loves Mya, not Lisa. I'm more offended on her behalf than upset *at* her, especially since I identify a lot with Lisa. Heh.

So, I will also watch your vid! :)

As for SFU, I know what you mean about the Nate/annoying Lisa thing, but I will just say that the storyline does improve - at least, I thought so. Or it may just be because I adore Lili Taylor, heh. I love reading your reactions as they makes me fall for the show all over again. And look forward to True Blood (Alan Ball + vampires = yay!) all the more.

I hope it improves! I certainly have faith in the show still, and I think some of this really stands up better to marathoning than watching real time.
