Fic rec! Highway's Jammed With Broken Heroes by brynnmck is a Due South, teen!Rays story that is filled with the wild, chaotic swirl of emotions that all teenagers fill. Mix desperate and hurting Vecchio with loose and loyal Kowalski and stir. Well worth a read, if you haven't done so already

Hee. Glad you're enjoying The Office. The beet seeds is just one of many throwaway moments of continuity that I love about the show. Makes rewatching things so pleasurable because you get some of the jokes later on that you never would earlier.

ETA: I've heard some of Kathleen Edwards, though I only have one mp3 by her, "Sure as Shit", that another person on my FList was sharing. She's pretty interesting. I think I'll check her out some more now. Thanks for the rec!

Yay for the Office!

I love that dang show.

FWIW, IMO it stays really strong throughout Season 2, 3 and 4. Which is unexpectedly wonderful. The S4 finale was last week and it was just as awesome as ever.

Dwight is my favorite Office character forever and ever the end.

And Jim (especially S2 Jim) is SO TOTALLY MY BOYFRIEND, and I adore Pam like nothing else--she's probably my favorite character--and Michael and Dwight and YAY. I'm so glad you're liking it! :)

I looove the final of Office Olympics. So cute and it makes my heart full everytime.

I just love how well they handle the characters. Beets are very important to Dwight actually but it was the little mentions that help build that up. And the documentary feel is one of my favorite parts about it especially when they interact with their camera (I think you're almost up to an big episode there depending on where you are exactly). Yay loving The Office!

We have just seen through, um, shoot, the Christmas party episode I think. Anyway, yes, the camera has been playing a much bigger role. It's awesome.
