I dreamt about American Idol the other night, before I'd had a chance to see the performance episode. It included the Top 12 all dressing up as clowns and singing a song together. A knock-down drag-out fight between Kevin Covais and Chris Rock over the Mayor of Los Angeles. Kevin Covais and Taylor sharing some inside joke where Kevin calls him ( Read more... )

I have spent entirely too much time today occupied with post-AI reading. Heh.

Asylum - I definitely prefer the spiky Ray hair to the flat Ray hair. The flat hair makes him look a lot younger. I loved this episode, it was lots of fun and I was interested the whole time.

I think I read somewhere that this was the first episode they shot with Callum. If it's true and I didn't just dream it, that would explain the difference in hairstyles.

The first episode? Wow, that would be surprising, given how late it comes in the airing order of the season. But it would make sense on the hair difference.

I found where I read it.

You have to scroll down to the "interesting trivia" bit. I usually make the assumption that the broadcast order is the way things get filmed. Like because Burning Down the House is the first episode with the character RayK, I just think it would be filmed first as well. It doesn't make sense that it wasn't.

During the awards thing on AI on turned the sound down. It makes me uncomfortable to watch people being made to look like asses. Well, accept for maybe Tom Cruise. Anyway, I looked up at the TV screen during one of the segments and wondered who that guy was walking out and singing. OMG, whoever the stylist is who has been working on Clay - *they* deserve an award.

I heard on GMA this morning that any artist who appears or has their songs featured on the show sees their record sales increase by 250 to 400%. That's why you saw Prince. ;)

Normally it makes me uncomfortable, except these people seemed to welcome it. Heh.

My Vids on YouTube anonymous May 26 2006, 02:12:10 UTC
Hey it's the guy who asked you about hosting before. I took your advice and hit up YouTube and it's working great for the vid I have up. I plan on putting all my Firefly vids up there, as well as my Harry Potter one. Everyone here can be the first to rate my vids!!!! One of them is to the Serenity movie, which is mentioned in the primary post here, so this sorta relates :) Sorry, had to do some shameless advertising.

I want to thank Wolfpup for all the help given. You rock!!

My Vids are:
"Crazy River"
"Living Weapon of Choice" (not yet up but going to be soon)
"Barroom Brawls"
"The Wizard That I Am Today"
