So, turns out wifi does reach my apartment (third floor) if I'm either at the table or sitting by my computer. At least I don't have to go down to front desk just to check my email

I really liked it too. I was screaming my head off, though. It was amazing to learn that some of the writers had gotten their wish. Then again, there's such a gamma of fic out there, someone had to have gotten it right. It remind me of a fic I read ages ago, sobut how Dean and Sam turned into one person called Sean and said they were John's middle child.
I've had something I've written come true on the show before...Sam's ability to kill demons with his powers...totally wrote it the way they showed him take out Alastair...only a little more dramatic and a lot less demon blood ingesting.
So it happens from time to time...but either way I really dug the episode.
With me having such limited Internet access, not being spoiled is really easy. It totally caught me by surprise. Dude, a brother? Who actually had a normal life and an almost normal John as a dad? Yeah, I was screaming. Who wouldn't!?
i watched it way early this morning. nothing scarier than ghouls!! nasty.
though, poor sam and dean! sam doing exactly what he hated john doing to him, and poor dean taking the role of mom. poor boys. to suddenly have family and lose them immediately thereupon.
I think what bothered me the most was the obvious way that Dean was totally shaken about the kid (I think his name was Adam but can't really remember). Here is the kid that got all the atention from the absent father he had to suffer through. It broke me.
*sniff* I kind of hate John for doing that to the boys. Sam had to be 7 when Adam was born. He was young enough to have a life. Even Dean, he was only 11. So eleven or so years later, when Sam was 18 and wanting to leave for college and get a life, John was leaving the boys to take Adam to a ball game and no wonder he was so pissed with Sam for wanting the life John was letting Adam have.
I watched it. Still not fully ready to discuss it yet though. Currently trying to get over my extreme fit of anger and rage. There were some things I really enjoyed and others that kind of ruined the show for me.
It's a weird episode, really. I mean, in a way I really liked what they did, because it's a twist I wasn't expecting. But then again, dude, it was so uncalled for. It's like they enjoy hurting the boys. I do, and writers all over the fandom do too, but, Kripke hit Dean where it hurt the most. That kid got the childhood neither of them got. And that's just wrong. *nods*
