Some people were okay with the ending, because if you looks at the details, there seems to be hope, and something concrete. For others like me, we were sorta devastated. I won't say too much more.
I wrecked it for myself as well by insisting a friend spoil it for me. I would really advise against spoiling yourself dear-- watch, then read (I feel silly 'cause I've never followed this rule myself..but can't blame a girl for trying to give warning)
On the other hand, my official fic rec for the QAF wrecked, is Blissed, although truthfully, most of the fic at that site is amazing (if I recall properly). It might not be what you're looking for right now-- it's crack!fic, but it made me laugh so hard I forgot that I was sad for a bit during season 2.
I'm at 4x11 and the mere idea that I'm about to run out of episodes is heartbreaking. I've promised myself to watch the whole show all over again once it's over. *nods*
I started reading Blissed but didn't get around to finish it, because there was another episode with name on it. *g*
The only reason I haven't spoiled myself so far is because the episodes, the storyline is so freaking amazing, I don't want to waste time looking for fic when I could be WATCHING THE SHOW! *g*
I know I'm going to have mixed feelings about everything, mostly because I'm eating this show like I've been starving for years, so I've fallen for them, HARD AND FAST, in true connection to the show. *winks*
God, I wanna read SO BAD, but at the same time, I JUST WANNA KEEP ON WATCHING. So the time I spend looking for fic might as well be spend WATCHING. *g* Like, what am I doing here, answering, when I could be WATCHING!!!????
