Very quick, child related question. Do kids (six years old) have "snacks" in mid afternoon, in between lunch and dinner? Over here it's called "tea time" but I'm not sure if it's custom in US. Yes, yes they do. My seven year old brother comes home after school and pigs out before dinner. I think he's so busy playing at break at school he doesn't actually eat much at lunchtime.

Six year olds are always snacking. Breakfast. Snack at 10am. Lunch. Snack in the mid afternoon. Depending on when they eat dinner and go to bed, maybe a snack in the late afternoon, too. Though starting school may cut out the morning snack.

After school snacks are very common here. At least, they were for me and my friends. Handful of cereal, or some cookies or whatever. Yes.
