Like the above person, I'm a lurker (Yours are some of the VERY few Ryan/Seth fics I'll actually read...) but I wanna rec Kellifer_fic's Supernatural stories (That links directly to the SPN master fic list, complete with titles, descriptions, and some warnings).

Specifically I think you should check out (All are Gen):
A World Of His Own Making which is kinda bittersweet and angsty and sad and sweet....
Doll House which is just too damn funny as is it's sequel Doll Day Afternoon which is a direct continuation.
Not The World I Left Behind is simply an amazing post-apocalyptic story with the brothers still fighting the good fight while trying to find eachother. There's a prequel in the works, Not The Road I See Ahead (Link goes to the latest part, which has links to the previous part right after the basic story info).

You are right...there is NOTHING wrong with the RPS. It just took me a little while to figure that out.
I am back in Illinois, but not really HERE right now. Leaving to go do some post-vacation stuff. I'll be on later tonight, and I hope you are too.
OH! And, I am actually THRILLED you are reading the J2 now. Because that means you can cheerlead me through that fic I have to finish soon. hee!!
