It freaked me out! I had to stop a few times, and I had to read it in the daylight, that's for sure. It was so good, though!

I finished it last night and it wasn't easy for me to fall asleep. The thing about the blanket and using Jim's voice? That totally crept me out. *shudders* Very ugly. Argh. And my house can be pretty dark at nights. Like, pitch black and because it's old, it seems to make a sound every other hour and... argh. Very, very nasty. *shudders*

I think it's all about the ambient around it. I mean, I've been reading that story for about an hour and it was so very dark around me and I just got scared. Besides, it reminded me a lot of The Exorcist and that movie gave the nightmares for almost a month. *nods* That, and I'm a chicken.
