I'd say an Avengers panel is a certainty. If they actually start work on Star Trek anytime soon, then probably yes. Captain America... hard to say. It comes out DURING SDCC, but it IS Captain America after all, so they'll probably do something for it. JJ Abrams' Super 8 will likely have a panel. If Joss Whedon's Cabin in the Woods gets a release date, then probably. Cowboys & Aliens comes out after SDCC, so it will probably get some attention as well.
And unfortunately... Twilight. *sighs*
Like the poster above me, I hope there's actually a Doctor Who panel next year. I'm still a bit bitter that we didn't get one this year.
Captain America premieres on July 22nd, which is the Friday of the con next year, so I imagine there will be something big related to that! Along with Avengers.
Looking at Wikipedia, some other movies that might be at the con: - Cowboys & Aliens - Sherlock Holmes 2 - The next Batman movie? - Twilight, UGH.
Also! I don't know how common video games are there, but I know Assassin's Creed 2 was there this year. If they continue to promote video games, Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 is very likely for SDCC next year, depending on when in 2011 it comes out. Maybe Infamous 2, as well.
Lots of wishful thinkers camped out for THIS year's HP panel thinking that the cast would be there. (At least they got Tom Felton/Draco, so it wasn't a total waste of time...)
Yeah, I was part of that crowd. Although I didn't have much hope anyone would be there; I was mainly just wanting to get in there to see the exclusive footage (which I did). When Tom Felton ended up walking out I went batshit.
