Announcing The Bronze-Beta Summer Writing Contest
The Algerina Memorial Summer Fan Creative Writing Contest
As we hurtle toward 2012 and the end of the The Mayan Calendar, your mission, should you choose to accept it, shall be one of Apocalyptic proportions. Your subject will be to write any post-apocalypse story in the Buffy/Angel/Firefly universe you wish. (Cross-overs are also permitted.)
Guidelines:
1- Story Time frame: past, present or future.
2- Format: Story, or Script.
3- Stories should be no less than 3 yet no more than 15 pages in length; word count no less than 500 yet no more than 4000.
4- Every fic should contain a header, a summary and a rating.
5- Only established characters should be used. One or two original characters shall be permitted, as long as they are secondary or tertiary characters*. (NO Mary Sues!)
6- The deadline for entries is September 15, 2011. All completed entries should be emailed to Menomegirl.
7-All entries will be posted at The Sunnydale Library. Comments are welcome and anonymous comments will be enabled, so those without a Live Journal can leave feedback if they want.
8-This will be a judged contest; your judges will be my fellow Herald editors.
