Happy Birthday, Miss M.
It's the 28th here, so I guess I can post my "Happy bday Mary" entry *gg* I made a lil picspam in honor of her bday, a few sidebar animations and a video tribute :) Members of dailymary might recognize the pics and gifs I've used but hey, I'm all for recycling *gg* Hope u all enjoy and I hope Mary has the most fantastic day ever ;)
As we all know, Mary began her career on the stage. She had loads of success on and off Broadway in the 80s and still occasionally does some stage reading. Let's hope she does a play soon again (and of course she'd have to do a world tour *g*)
She also started her film and tv career in the 80s...and had some pretty interesting hairdos at the time. But hey, it was the 80s ;)
The 90s really kickstarted her career. 2 Oscarnominations and loads of fantastic characters for her to play such as Stands with a Fist, May-Alice, Dott Emerson, the First Lady of the United States *g* and many, many more.
The next decade brought about the character of Laura Roslin. To me, that's her most important and most awesome character. But other characters such as Sharon Raydor, Eleanor Carter, Virginia Dixon or Jules O'Grady have made an equally big impact (at least on me *g*).
Conventions should be mentioned too since she's awesome at cons. If u have a chance to meet her at one, do go *gg*

I recently discovered my love for sidebar animations and I thought it'd be awesome to have some Mary sidebar animations. Again, the folks from dailymary will probably know these gifs already (only bigger *g*) but I hope u'll enjoy seeing these again.
So if ur layout allows these thingies and if u'd like to look at a dancing/silly/adorable/gorgeous Mary whenever u visit ur journal, here u go. Please don't hotlink to any gifs though. If u like one of them or even all of them, just right click and safe. Thank u.
