...marry me?

Seriously though, that was awesome! And sad, and funny (Gabriel, oh Gabriel...), and a good plot without being overly confusing. I love it! The lines 'I feel like a god kicked the shit out of me... oh wait.' & 'There will be hilariously painful consequences.' had me sniggering and possibly scaring the household. And you summed up a large chunk of the Debriel pairing here:

"He had no idea whether Dean standing there or just the complete hopelessness was what brought his confident cockiness back, but right now he felt like he would be able to laugh even if he was facing down good ol' uncle Death. Yeah, definitely Dean was to blame for this one."

And Cas getting saved at the end, and Gabriel forgiving him, and Dean knowing that they're gonna be okay was like the whipped cream on top - so happy that he didn't die/stay a monstrous dick.

All in all, a highly entertaining read. You are awesome.

Thank you so much!! I had a pretty simple plot for this one (cause I didn't wanna end up writing something very very long), and I managed to add everything I wanted to add :)

Gabriel is my favorite as always. I like imagining him as being a bit grumpy when exhausted, cause normally he never is tired or anything. X)

And yes, I do think that one of the foundations of the Debriel pairing is Gabriel being the strong, but Dean being the brave who gives courage to Gabriel to do what is right, no matter the consequences.

And I still love happy endings, so yeah for Cas being back. Dean will be willing to forgive, because he forgives family, and Cas is family now. And Gabriel is stronger than to be broken up by these events and knows that Cas was mostly controlled by the souls/power.

So yeah! So happy you enjoyed! Thank you for reading :)

That was beyond awsome.

Godstiel was truly scary.
That talk between Gabriel and Castiel, how Dean was using him as a tool and how he himself experienced that was so sad - had tears in my eyes. Then that little story that Dean told of the woman praying to Gabriel, giving him the St.Gabriel pendant - again tears in my eyes.
The sex part - hot and steamy.
Gabriel's prayer to his father - heartbreaking then Gabriel been tortured, ending and Cas situation - truly amazing.

Beautifully written!

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun writing God!Cas, and it was still summer when I wrote this, so I had no idea how he will be like beyond the finale. Glad you liked it. In his scary ways.

What Castiel felt towards Dean added a lot to his anger and his behavior towards Gabriel, as he felt he was betrayed by his friend.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. :)

Thank you so very much! I'm really happy that you liked the fic!

I sometimes get the feeling that Dean was a bit unfair to Castiel, or at least asking too much, without showing much gratitude, but we all know Dean is not good at expressing himself. Until it is the 11th hour and he just has to speak the truth.

Again, thank you for reading and commenting :)

Wow. I'm speechless. Too much Dean/Gabriel goodness in a way too short of a time span. I think this fried my brains.

I finally found time to read a debriel minibang story! Whoooo! Okay, before time runs out...

I LOVED IT! Like really loved it, I like the way Gabriel just wants to go back into his old ways of running, but Dean wouldn't let him. Also the fact that Dean would've kept hearing Gabriel's name while he was living the apple-pie life. It makes a lot of sense that he would feel somewhat confused about regular people knowing about him and then remembering that he isn't a lesser angel.

I'm also glad that they didn't kill Cas, sometimes SPN should just follow some fanfiction. :D

I couldn't kill little Cas, boo x)

Very glad that you enjoyed the story. I had a lot of fun writing it. I like the fact about the archangels, that while the Winchesters see them as just some random angels they have to deal with, even if powerful ones, they are ideas and symbols to millions of people on the world. It's certainly not something Dean would've ever thought about. I liked the concept.

Thank you for the comment :)
