That fucking Brian Wilson DVD owns!!!! I put it on (watched the concert first) with the intent of watching a little bit. I ended up spending the rest of the night watching the entire concert and the entire documentary (which is two glorious hours long) and it is amazing. I loved the album before, but I appreciate it so much more knowing what hell -- personal and otherwise -- he went through to finally complete it. I strongly suggest you lay out lots of time to soak up the whole thing.
The concert footage is great, and I can give you a hint on how the recreate the record: there are like 20 people on stage, and at least 12 of them sing.
that's what i figured. and now, damnit, i won't even be able to watch the DVD until next week because i'm at Rents' house and its too much of a hassle to go back home to get it! son of a bitch!

In any case, I think I should have a look at E-Bay; I haven't bought anything there in a loooong time and the haul you got is quite impressive.

actually only the Bloc Party, Futureheads and the Jimmy Eat World stuff were off eBay. almost everything else was mailordered from the UK.
next's week haul is probably going to be a small one. i only have 2 CDs on order and 2 eBay items coming to me...
