Fic for a Friday.

People in Gloucester having an igloo party. Heh, rock.

I need to start running illegal goods in order to pay for this Europe trip. Anyone have cocaine they need transported across state lines? Just kidding, but not really.

CSI was bad. So bad, just terrible. And I loved every second of it. Sign language! Mrs. Grissom! Marlee Matlin being as ( Read more... )

This is so gorgeous. One of the best Josh/Donna pieces I've ever read. I think, for me, the best part of this is that it's set so early in the show, and that you are showing us that Josh has these thoughts already about her, recognizes them as what they are, but at the same doesn't recognize them for what they can be or what they will be years from now when they finally get to that place that they can be together. Sorry, that was rambling, lol.

And that last line is so beautifully done. I love the meaning behind that.

Really, really, well done. :)

Wow, that comment just blew me away and completely made my day. Thank you so much!

I love early Josh/Donna. I love it. I love the flirting and the long looks and the angst and the layers of meaning and the subtleties of their body language and their conversation. I love everything about early THEM.

Thank you, thank you a thousand times thank you for letting me know what you thought about this. It's really uplifting, considering it sat in google docs for months, wallowing, wondering if it would ever be finished.

This is so stunning. When it started off, I thought it was a little shaky, stumbling just a bit - but then it gathered speed and took off - not unlike J&D's relationship, honestly. Finding footing, finding a groove, carving a perfect fit.

The passage about crimson is incredible, so nuanced. I feel like you've let us wear Josh's soul for a few sharp minutes.

Beautiful.

Thank you so much! This was really difficult to write. I agree about the first portion of it. I toyed with dumping it several times but fought through it and thought it made a pretty good base for the peace.

You're too kind. Thank you so much!

I'm so glad you didn't dump it! It's too good, and there's always room for more good WW fic in the world. :-)

(Also, I *love* your icon. Mine is only to mirror that, text to be ignored. ♥ )

Gah, piece not piece. I can't type, so that's cool.

Your icon makes me giggle. Oh House. Ohhhhhhh Gregory House.

OK, the first two comments you got are incredibly well worded. I don't think I can match their level.

But I really like this. I'm *tired* from reading it. *Tired* from being inside Josh's racing mind in the middle of the night. I felt like I couldn't take a breath as I tried to keep up with the frenetic workings of Josh's brain.

I love this insight into what we all knew was there from the start, even before either of them were willing or able to admit it.

Thank you for giving me something lovely to read with my coffee this morning instead of actually getting to work. :)

Hahah, I think you did a pretty fantastic job, actually!

Josh seems the tiring type, from his patterns of speech to the way he WALKS, so I'm really glad you think I did that justice.

Glad to have made your morning a little better! Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what you thought!

This was just so gorgeous - stream of consciousness done right. Move aside, Virginia Woolf.

Ahhh, merci beaucoup! Stream of consciousness is so much easier for me to write than actual dialogue between characters.

THAAAANK YOU!

I'm just sort of done in general? I can't stand Erin any more, she's getting way on my nerves. WAY. WAYYYYYYYYY.

But I'm staying with the show until Carell leaves at LEAST.
