Eh, Dexters are clearly like Star Trek movies: the even numbered ones are the good ones. They also have Keith Carradine in them, so I may be biased. Roll on S6 with Lundy's ghost!

Overall, I enjoyed the Dexter finale. Deb is my favorite as well, and I was surprised and touched by that scene at the camp.

And THANK YOU so much for my advent ficlet! I still wubs the GSR.

I didn't hate it, but it could have been better. When Deb was talking to them, I started tearing up. God, she's so good. Hope the thing with her and Michael doesn't cause any tension on the set that takes away from their amazing dynamic.

I was so ready for Deb to find out. This is definitely the closest we've got, and that scene through the tarp was intense, but I was still kind of hoping we'd get closer.

I do agree each season ends the same. I don't really want an epic cliffhanger every season but I want to feel like Dexter is more threatened, because he's getting sloppier and he gets away with it all still.

That said, I did still really enjoy the episode. I liked Lumen, and Dexter's breakdown was very depressing, especially now he's stifling his newly discovered emotions again and seems to have learnt nothing.

I was so ready for Deb to find out too, how epic would that have been? But a bombshell like that has to happen mid-season, so we're not cheated out of the exposition of THAT trainwreck plot. Because, putting at the end of the season? COP OUT, hahaha.

Was I the only one who disliked Lumen? I think so. Boo on me!
