I ran into wintergreen126 on the train this morning! Good thing I did, too, or I would have ridden the rest of the way to Park Street with coffee on my nose.

When I got into work this morning, I went through my normal routine, eventually logging in to Boston.com to check on the day's new. To my utter delight, there's a piece in today's paper about the the Read more... )

That abandoned buildings piece is so cool.

And good god, how do 3200 words just pour out of you? Is it something in the coffee there? Crack, possibly? I need some.

Baked mac and cheese? Or chicken penne with some salad and wine and shit? Not sure why my thoughts are so pasta-centric, but there you go.

Isn't it? Lori, Samantha and I tried to get out to some of those places in the summer and fall of last year, but a large majority of them have been torn down. Guess the state doesn't want anyone having awesome adventures inside.

Hahaha, you know, as I've said before it has a lot to do with music. And the fact that I often have large periods of down time at work with which I can fanny about writing these tremendously crazy fanfictions.

But yes, crack cocaine is involved in small, manageable doses.

BAKED MAC AND CHEESE! You are a genius. And as luck would have it, Samantha and I have been pressuring Lori into making her famous baked mac, which is truly a gift from the gods. And the angina fairy. But it's still delicious.

"sweats and swears" and "conflicting necessities" are two rad, rad bits of writing.

ALSO, GOD, the idea that they are too old and decrepit to have rough sex. HOW EMBARRASSING BUT TRUE and kind of sweet and also so depressing.

Are you just the coolest, as per ushe?

I have nothing left to say about these two other than that they deserve to ride each other so thoroughly that neither one of them can walk.

...these are the things I think about, what can I say? When's the age cutoff for rough, naughty-naughty for these two? It's gotta be getting towards that point. Except, maybe they go to the gym a lot and so they're limber?

Yes, these are the things I think about.

Pee to the ess my dear, write me some dirty-dirty White Collar? you know you want to!

AUGH, I WANT TO, MY TO-WRITE LIST IS SO LONG (The Good Wife! Josh and Donna! CJ and Toby! Parenthood! Peter and Neal!), but meanwhile I am doing some actual writing for money and I have all these crazy deadlines and they're totally cramping my style. It's like they don't know how demanding my fanfiction schedule is or something. GOD.

NO EXCUSES! ...though I would love to see some West Wing shennanery from you. (Yeah, I just made up that word. You're impressed.)

Ooooh, writing for money! Carry on, then!

Just finished Psych. And you're right - that's not how I would've written the S/J bit - I would've written something more like his prep-speech - but I think the way they did it was actually much more fitting. The motorcycle/car thing is so very Shawn/Psych and so is the extra two rounds of making out before the fade away. I'm so glad they've done it and I really hope they don't mess it up now just to stick with the expected. I'm greedy; I want another show to point to and be able to say "see, getting your characters together doesn't ruin anything".

You're completely right; that speech was pretty disjointed and clumsy and in Shawn's own weird way, spectacularly to the point.

I'm VERY interested to see how this all comes to a head, obviously. This isn't going to be easy, at all, clearly, but I hope this doesn't become a bungled romance.

It would break my heart.

OH MY GOD, what is with you and this newfound optimism with Elliot and Olivia? Ahahaha! I love it so much I can't even TELL YOU. I mean, you know, you write the ambiguous and the gut-punching angst better than just about anyone, and I LOVE THAT, but also? Sometimes I need them to have some hope, and you can do that TOO. Augh.

This was really just delicious and amazing and I love it to pieces.

You know what? I have no idea, except, well sodelicateandi requested El and Liv doing the dirty dirty in return for the graphics she made me. I think her exact words were, "Elliot and Liv doing something, I don't care, dirty, dirty sex."

Yeah, that sounds like her. ;)

Thank you so much for enjoying this piece. A little raunchier and more detailed that I usually write for them, but I thought, what the hell.

And as much as it kills us, clearly, we have to keep the faith!

Running into someone on the train. That just sounds so lovely.

Aw, Cary. I love him. :) I have yet to see the new Psych, but in any case I can say: IT WAS AWESOME. Cause it always is.
