Hold on, just wait one second. Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent are dating? What with the huh?

Also in that blurb, it says that Brad Pitt is filming in Boston. I could pass that dude on the street and I wouldn't even notice, I'm so underwhelmed by him.

OH HEY LOOK! A CONAN PROMO! I'm not ashamed that this actually turns me on. Oh, Coco!

And there's Read more... )

The precinct falling apart was the best. I remember when Mick or someone was taking photos of the set during the filming of this and thinking to myself "what the hell are they going to do to work this in?"

Cragen glaring at the union guys was PERFECT. Subtle, but says what everyone is thinking: GET THE FUCK TO WORK.

Wait, wait, I did not notice the banjos so now I'm going to have to go back and listen because OMGLMFAOBBQ. Seriously? Amazing.

This composer for this show is the Charles Dickens of the television scoring world, obviously.

I'm ready to win the Halloween contest, jsyk.

Also, the kimchee crisis! OH NOES! I don't think people realize just how much kimchee is eaten there! I mean TONS!

I think its a shame we traded Randy. I think he was just asking for a little respect from a team that he helped along.

Oh yeah? You think so, lady? You better bring your A game... and your B game, just in case.

Yeah, Koreans eat kimchi with almost every meal, right? I can't even think of something that would be comparable here.

Randy was getting a little like Manny, amirite? I don't know, I mean, he was asking for a little respect, but the way he spoke out against the team like that a few weeks a little while ago was pretty rough.

I understand where Bill wants to go with all of this though, so, in Bill I trust, I suppose.

OH GOD, this was everything I wanted it to be AND MORE.

Just, the whole first section and how you capture that world SO PERFECTLY, and the dialogue, and the description of Christa as "boneless" and a rag doll and "miles and miles and states away" and how he could go to Old Orchard Beach if he wanted to, of all the depressing fucking things, and just. And I would have been happy even if that was the only part, but then the second part where CLAIRE SHOWS UP and "You got some color, Doug," and him wondering if she's moved on and up and away.

IN CONCLUSION, YOU ARE AWESOME, I LOVE THIS, WE SHOULD TRADE FIC ALL THE TIME.

OH HEY BLACK DONNELLYS ICON! Look at you...

THANK YOU! Oh goodness, this could have gone so many ways, it really could have but you know... this is what happened. I really, REALLY enjoyed writing them and would like to maybe write them again, try for something bigger, maybe push my boundaries or something.

I'm so glad you came up with this idea though, so kudos to YOU, good sir.

AND WE SHOULD SO TRADE FIC ALL THE LIVELONG DAY!

I LOVE THE BLACK DONNELLYS! I watched the whole series over the summer NOT REALIZING IT ENDED ON A CLIFFHANGER, at which point I called Boyfriend at work in a murderous rage and he was all, "Oh yeah, didn't I mention that to you?". I even ficced it!

Also, I'm two hundred words into some West Wing alphabet fic and am totally stuck because I can't figure out if I think Josh and Sam are secretly in love with each other or not, and also I can't figure out how to use the word "unilateral," which is the prompt. MY LIFE IS SO HARD.

Oh, man. I loved this fic! Not only is it the ONLY fic in the world for this movie, but it is so, so good. The language and Doug and how he thinks of Claire and her moving on and up and away. So beautiful and perfect. *sighs* Thank you for this.

Wow, thank you so much! I just love, love, loved this movie (and not just because I grew up next to Charlestown, heh) and Affleck was outstanding in it, and it was such a HEART BREAKING love story that I couldn't imagine it ending there.

Clearly, heh.

Thank you so much for your kind words, they really do mean so, so much to me. I'm so glad that you enjoyed this!
