The necessities:
Comment here that you plan on taking the challenge.
Choose an album, any album. Well, preferably one that you love.
Write one fic to each song on that album. It does not have to be a song fic! Just, you know, a fic based on the song/inspired by the song/including a lyric, whatever.
This is multi-fandom, so write for as many fandoms as you want in this challenge. Track #1 can be CSI, Track #2 can be Star Trek, etc.
Share the song at the time when you post your fic, preferably a link to a sample of the song or a youtube clip of the song. If you choose to share a song via upload, please note that the RIAA dictates that all music downloaded for free should be removed after previewing for twenty-four hours. What you choose to upload and download during this challenge is your own responsibility, and accessing and sharing music through legal channels is strongly encouraged.
If you choose to upload music, here's a quick tutorial.
1. Go to www.megaupload.com. (Or other file sharing site, I use megaupload because it's easy and links don't expire the second after you upload them.)
2. Click browse.
3. Find source folder for the album or song you're looking to upload. (If you don't know how to find the source folder follow these steps: 1. Open your desired music player, and right click a song from the CD you want to upload. 2. Right click on the song and click "Get Info" 3. Along the bottom of the new window that opens will be the location of the song.)
4. Click upload!
5. When the file is finished uploading, you will be provided with a link.
6. Share the link when you post your fic!
Fics can be anywhere from 300 words to infinity.
There is no time limit!
