Scrubs. Was. Great. I am elated that it's back and that the writers are up to their old nonsense. Courtney Cox will take some getting used to (as will Zach's "beard") but I'm willing to wait that out.
Only epic!fail of that ep, IMHO, was the lack of Dr. Bob Kelso.

I am a lemming and thus... did the icon meme. )

Another thing I was NOT down with, was the scene of bonding between JD and Cox... what, all of a sudden they're equals?
BUT OMG! I loved Joe... talking about how she headbutted the dude. HILARIOUS.

And, yeah, this fandom is kind of... difficult. To say the least. Ten years, I guess, is a long time.

This fandom is so...it's populated by mostly-mediocre writers... I'm super glad that everyone at eoshippers is fantastic, you know???

"The forever-nothing, a strangely comforting constant." That really stuck with me after I read this.
Also, that first icon, with Dr. Cox, would be the most awesome icon ever IF it included the "pft" at the end (as in, "Noooooooooooooooooooo......silence....pft")...I hope you know what I mean, lol. I love Scrubs...I had to DVR Tuesday's episodes, and I'm really looking forward to watching them, beard or no beard. I'm sad Dr. K is gone...I'd forgotten about his retirement...I have the first three seasons on DVD and thsoe are the ones I watch most often, which leaves the last few season as kind of a blur in my head.

B.... of COURSE I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!! The brush off pffffft... come on. My FAVE part of that scene is when he whistles to JD's bro and he follows, SO CUTE.
And man, season four is awesome as well, you should pick it up. Season 3 is my fave, but season four is pretty great too...
Please, let me know what you think of the new eps when you see them. I LOVE talking to people about Scrubs.

I find it very hard to describe the differences between the beginning and now; not that they're not there, because there's giant gaping chasms between them, but it's like, how did they get there? And this... this is great.
"An ever-burgeoning family on his part and more of less-than-adequate dates on her part had left her staring at him more than usual. Things like that made her dizzy, when he caught her staring. "What?" he would ask, and every time, she shrugged it off like it was nothing, like it continued to be nothing. The forever-nothing, a strangely comforting constant.
Is particularly brilliant, as is, "she would lie in bed and yearn for a shot of wheat grass and the feeling of missing him from three thousand miles away."
Just absolutely brilliant. Totally amazing, really, I love it all. Fantastic job. <3

I find it difficult to express the way in which I think Olivia has changed, because it really has been translated through the new, softer wardrobe and her renewed compassion and energy, but, UGH, she had to have done so much pining when she was in Oregon.
And they never talked about it, El and Liv. They never made a real mention of her time over there and how it was... and that bugs me because, come on, they're totally bffs and they don't share this stuff?
GAH! They drive me bonkers.
Again, thanks so much for reading, this was really fun to write.
