Really, I like the idea of other hunters being one more thing the boys have to worry about. We didn't get enough of that with shortened season 3, and then it came up again in season 5, so it's perfect that you took that open door and ran thru it!
The boys' voices are perfect - and even Cas sounds exactly like I hear him on the show!
It's nice to read a season 5 fic that isn't soggy with angst; this was exactly the right touch!
I hear Sam and Dean's voices pretty clearly now - and that makes me sound truly insane, doesn't it? - but I'm still working to get Cas down pat so, thank you, that means a lot.
And I'm with you on the hunters; mixed in with all the fuglies and the apocalypse, it's nice to see the boys tangle with a human threat from time to time. As for the cages? That's just a bonus! *g*
This was a perfect start to my day! Hurt!Dean, Protective!Sammy, even if he was a hallucination for most of it...and then a splash of Cas to make it perfect. LOL I think you perfectly captured not only thier voices, but thier thoughts too. This is how I see the brothers and it's nice to see others with the same hope for their future and the same thinking behind how they got to where they are now.
All in all, this was awesome! Well done!! Oh...and ditto on the muse issues. LOL Mine's been AWOL a lot and it's driving me nuts. ;)
Thank you so much. Reading your comments was a lovely way to wrap up my weekend.
When it comes to the brothers' relationship, hey, I'm a glass half-full kind of gal. I like them fighting the bad guys, side-by-side, rather than fighting each other so I have a death-grip on hope. *g*
As for my muse, let's just say 'fickle' is about the nicest name I have for her. The rest are best not repeated in polite company! :)
*blanks for a sec* Did I know you had a LJ account? No, I don't think I did. Wait. I did. You're on my flist *facepalm*
Well, I still enjoyed reading this again. It's like fine wine. Improves with age. Wish I could be like fine wine. Or maybe I'll just drink some wine. Yeaaaaah. I'll do that. ;)
You're not going crazy, dude. This is the first story I've posted over here. With Harrigan's help, I'm slowly working my way through the technical side of things.
Glad you found the story and cheers for the second read. And please DO have a glass of wine - in fact, I think I'll join you. Cheers again!
I really enjoyed this! I loved drugged!Dean and how Sam was fierce in his protection of Dean, even when he wasn't real. This was a perfect diversion for my evening. Wonderfully done!

Thanks so much. I love protective Sam, too. Let's hope, on screen, we get more threats that bring out the protective streak in both brothers. *g* Cheers.
