Hypothermia and cave-in trauma FTW! Not to mention, pie!

I love a good Outsider POV, and this was a perfect example. He was a good, solid, likable character, and it's nice to occasionally have the regular folks who knew nothing about the supernatural before come to appreciate and take care of the boys.

It's especially satisfying to see the guys worried about each other and putting the other's welfare ahead of their own. I miss that!

Thanks for kicking off the summer hiatus with a bang!

Oh boy, did I miss the brothers looking out for each too. That was big part of the reason I decided there would be LOTS of it in this fic. :-)

Thanks so much for your help. *hugs you*

Cherpumple - oy! Wouldn't you love to know the story behind that? "I've got an idea-let's put pie INSIDE cake." The mind boggles!:-/

Thanks so much!!

Awesome story- with so many cool elements. I loved the case they were working and that it is based on a real place. Hurt - worried for each other boys- written from the pov of such an interesting OC for the win! Thanks for sharing! :)

The Danvers Asylum really is a fascinating place. It would be great to see it used in an episode of SPN at some point. But, in the mean time, it seemed like a good place to put the brothers through the wringer, fic-wise. *g*

I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks so much!!

Loved it. Love me a good case!fic and I always enjoy outsider POV. This was riveting from start to finish and the fact that it is based on real events is just the icing on the...uh, I mean the cream on the pie! :)
