great weekend

Had a pretty awesome weekend. First I finally got to see the Dark Knight on Friday night in the IMAX theater. In a rare move by Hollywood it actually lived up to the hype. This shall be purchased on DVD as soon as possible

You said that you bought the helicopter ride for Brian's birthday - so the trip wasn't a surprise for him, right?

Were you surprised that he popped the question during the helicopter ride?

No the trip was not a surprise for him, it was his birthday gift.

I was hoping he was going to ask me soon (we've been looking at rings), but I had no idea when/where.

P just mentioned that lots of people are getting married on 08.08.08 (for those who like two digit decimal numbers... guess in octal we should say it's already 10.10.10 at the end of the week (for those who like two digit years and believe in months)) but you're probably planning further out than that?
