So I really, really like Ellie Goulding’s version of Your Song by Elton John (as can be seen at the end of this post). To the point of obsession, which happens with songs, it will wear off, maybe in a week, maybe in a month. I listen to it at least

I don't like Elton because of candle in the wind too, because it was originally written for marilyn monroe and now when people hear it do they think of Marilyn? No, they think of Diana. The original song was about how badly Marylin was treated by the press and hollywood, and then Elton goes and takes the song away from her and remixes it for Diana?? yeah. just a bit hypocritical there Elton. :/
