I ran in on the way home from #3Son's tennis tournament (he took 2nd! \o/) for my current fav ice cream, Homemade brand Chocolate Caramel Fusion. And a gallon of 1% just to make the stop look legit. "Well, I stopped to get milk and I haven't had My Ice Cream for over a week so I thought I'd buy some." Just casual-like. "I really hadn't planned it ( Read more... )

Cngrats to your son! That's awesome!

Mmm. Ice cream. I ate like shit all day at the Birthday Extravaganza my friend had for her kids and I am so hating myself right now. And I still want ice cream. Siiiigh...

Thanks! He was happy. I wondered how he came in second if he lost two matches but apparently they go by total games won and he was ahead of the third place guy by about six games. His last two matches really could have gone either way and the last match went to... sixteen (I think) tie-breaker points.

I was lactose intolerant for a few years and so have missed ice cream terribly. If you like chocolate and caramel, I highly recommend the Chocolate Caramel Fusion.

Oh, cool! I don't know the first thing about tennis. I am pretty much sports illiterate. Does he want to have a career in the sport?

That ice cream sounds fabulous. I bought an ice cream maker last year, and have tried copying a few favorite flavors. Mmm...self-destructivenes...

No. I think he wants to be a doctor. But he does love tennis.

I have an ice cream maker and haven't used it in years. I must get it out again. Even just plain old vanilla tastes great when you've made it! Well, that and the fat content. ;)

Nah. And I suck at literary reviews, so I apologize if I waxed too poetic. But I meant what I said and I loved it. The hints of a life underground, Aeryn, the reference to my little robot girl (who will be a real girl! ;) ) *dips your pigtails in the inkwell and runs away laughing* I really loved it, hon. Thank you so much!
