Stephanie Plum: bought 3,4, and 5 and 6, 7, and 8 today, handily packaged in groups of three. No cheaper but I was impressed by the ingenuity. I needed 3,4,5,6,7,8 and they had 3,4,5 or 4,5,6 or 6,7,8 or 7,8,9 and so on. That way, no matter where you'd left off, they most likely had pre-packaged the next three for you. Hee! Laughing at your MD self. Usually, the MD writes the order and it's the nurse spooning some stranger's poo into a cup. So, you know, lol.

Also, 86? You know, some times...it's just God's plan, it's your time,...etc. Had a 82 y/o who came into surgery for an ORIF, had a stroke, and is now scheduled for PEG tube. The daughter was, like, 70! (some people age differently from others, you know) Just...nature...natural death....I know! Let's prolong life until the victim, I mean patient, is contracted x4, completely demented and is only alive due to a feeding tube!

That's what DNR's are for. Believe me, mine is filled out.

Also, how do you guys keep alert for all those hours? Come 5am, I'm a little goofy.

Definitely punchy by 5AM but in my case who can tell the difference? :D I can do it, I'm just not good for anything after that. No errands run, no crafts. I just go home and crash.

Yeah. A PEG in an 82 year old is probably prolonging the inevitable. This gal was still fairly functional but I gotta ask, how soon would her endometrial CA have killed her? But if the surgeon doesn't operate, he doesn't make money. I so hate that attitude.

And when I'm hospitalized, I will definitely make sure the nurse does the poo spooning. ;) In fact, I'll request you. :P
