I have mixed emotions about the new Spiderman movie. The trailer looks interesting, and if it was anything other than Spiderman, I'd want to see it.

However, it doesn't feel like the comic book to me. Spidey is not supposed to be Dark Knight-ish Thus, I'm afraid I'm in for another X-Men 3: a movie that will please the average genre fan, but leave the hardcore Marvelites shaking our heads.

(And again, I'd like to "like" it. They have Denis Leary playing Captain Stacy. That is just all kinds of awesome!)
